Ms. Sloan

Howdy friends and welcome back!!!  My name is Mrs. Sloan, and I am thrilled to be your music teacher this school year!  I am so extremely fortunate to teach what I love!!  I grew up an "Army Brat" so am quite familiar with military life as many of our coyote families are!  I am a graduate of Texas A&M University, Kingsville where I earned a BA in Music Education.  I have two wonderful sons who are a sophomore in college and a junior in high school!  Both attended ISES! 

It has been an extraordinary joy to present many musicals over the years where ALL students have an opportunity to shine!  I LOVE teaching various instruments such as the ukulele, recorder, and violin, but partner dancing and singing are other highlights!  Preparing students for middle school band, choir or orchestra has been rewarding along with teaching expressive acting skills!  I cannot wait for you to join me!
